Our History
Stompa's heritages dates back to 1906, where it was founded in Norway. The Stompa trademark was established in 1960 by a family business, quickly building a reputation for high-quality bunk beds.
Over the decades, the family focused on creating innovative and durable children's beds and furniture, becoming a household name in Scandinavia. In 1980, Stompa expanded into the UK market, achieving great success and recognition.
Today, Stompa is a British-owned, family-run business based in Ilkley, West Yorkshire. Our production has moved to our original sub-supplier in Estonia, where traditional carpentry skills are combined with modern manufacturing techniques to ensure exceptional quality.
With over 60 years of experience, we continue to innovate and improve, always learning and adapting to provide the best in children's bedroom furniture.
