In the higher position, the bed frame is elevated slightly above a standard single bed to accommodate an integrated storage unit beneath, complete with open shelving and two cupboard compartments - ideal for books, toys, clothing or everyday essentials.
In the lower position, the bed can be used without storage or paired with a pull-out trundle drawer. This trundle can serve as a spacious storage drawer or, with the addition of a separately purchased trundle mattress, provide an extra sleeping space for overnight guests.
